Was the President inappropriate to expose the media’s actual incorrect criticism of his actions? Is the media immune to criticism? Is it appropriate for the press corps to behave like kids in day care and treat the President of the United States like a normal citizen?

Here’s the example the media describes as a Trump rant:

Was Paula Reid behaving in an appropriate fashion? Paula represents CBS, the network that showed footage from an Italian hospital representing it as a US hospital.

She was trying to suggest the President did nothing for the month of February to contain the virus when he has shown his timeline repeatedly. This is a gotcha game and these ill-behaved people who must be an embarrassment to parents get strokes from their bosses for ill behavior. The parent company, Viacom has an agenda and Ms. Reid is a tool.

It’s the last ditch effort to discredit the President and give the village idiot an outside chance of winning in November. Unless the Democrats ditch Biden and replace him with Cuomo, the governor who has overseen the worst effort to curtail the Coronavirus. With 50% of the cases and deaths, the media seems to think this makes him the party hero.

  1. Doug Gordon says:

From a Fox News article on Saturday April 18, 2020:

“The University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) lowered its projection of total deaths from 68,841 (with an estimate range of 30,188 to 175,965) to just over 60,308 (with an estimate range of 34,063 to 140,381) in an update published Friday.”

Statistic on total US Deaths from the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Map website late on April 17,2020: Total US deaths = 36,997.

Now my training was in Molecular modeling as a chemist, but it seems to me if the lower limit of your model is INCAPABLE of predicting the day you release your revisions because it is TOO LOW, your model isn’t really very good.

And governors are massively overreacting to this “crisis” by following the projections of these models.

Still a sad number, but less than half the deaths of a recent bad flu season. Don’t recall we shut the entire economy down that year.

This gotta get Trump at all costs media focus and totally ignoring the obvious senility of “sleepy Joe” is unconscionable bordering on criminal.
