George Orwell wrote in the book 1984:
The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. . . . Power is not a means; it is an end . . . not power over things, but over men. . . . In our world there will be no emotions except fear, rage, triumph, and self-abasement. . . . There will be no loyalty, except loyalty toward the Party. There will be no love, except the love of Big Brother. . . . Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever.1984
I do believe the WikiLeaks account that describes the options the CIA has, including listening to you after you shut off your Samsung TV off at night. No abuse of power would be too great for Barack Obama or any Clinton. Obama was desperate to get Hillary elected. She would have been his protection from future prosecution and his pardon if it happened.
Now it’s all up to the media. The once great media that tells us daily: yes, the Russians interfered with the elections and Trump and his people were behind it. No proof, but these days proof is not necessary to run a news story. Then they pronounce the wiretapping of the Trump election headquarters is a hoax perpetrated by Trump. No proof, but once again, none in needed. Even when Obama did go after one of them, James Rosen, with illegal actions, they still deny. James was a journalist, but from the small tribe. The tribe that distributes the truth, not the propaganda.
Now we wait. Will this be Benghazi II or the Clinton Foundation or even Whitewater II? Will the deniers get away with all of this once again for lack of an honest media to do the work of Watergate?
See with Watergate the media didn’t like Nixon and his politics. With Obama and his merry band, they still hump his leg like puppies. Time will tell, and not the magazine that has become useless like the rest of the media.
