President Obama, in an interview with Ann Curry, identifies the real problem leading to the joblessness in America. Here it is folks, now we know the real culprit.
“There are some structural issues with our economy where a lot of businesses have learned to become much more efficient with a lot fewer workers. You see it when you go to a bank and you use an ATM, you don’t go to a bank teller, or you go to the airport and you’re using a kiosk instead of checking in at the gate” Barrack Obama.
If you are a true patriot, you can help your country with this problem. Stop using that ATM and get in line at the teller window where one teller still works. You will have to schedule your bank visits better. That damned non-union ATM is there 24 hours a day. But, the humanoid works much shorter hours, so make sure you go when the teller is on duty. The same with you travel plans. Skip right by that automated check-in machine, and get in that long line to wait to be checked in by a real person. Only by doing this can we get people back to work.
I must be missing something, but I thought both ATM’s and Kiosk’s were there before Obama, but I guess not.
Can you imagine if Bush or any other Republican had said anything this stupid on National TV?
I will sleep better tonight knowing the problem can be solved so easy. But, the downside would be the reelection of a man who can make a statement like this. Or, one who can laugh at the trillion dollar stimulus mess and say he guessed the shovel ready projects weren’t so shovel ready. Or, call unemployed people bumps in the road.
And, we elected this man because the was so brilliant. A shining beacon of intellectualism. A Harvard man. Makes me regret I ever spent any time at the Harvard Business School. I guess that’s the difference between the b-school and the law school. If anyone said anything as inane as Obama said in the b-school, you would be laughed out of the class. But, in the law school, your soaring oratory would be applauded regardless of content. Yet, we continue to put lawyers in elected office by the hundreds.
Sorry, gotta run, I need to make a withdrawal from my bank and the teller goes off duty in 20 minutes.
