For the past 30 years, the liberal side has been very organized. There are a multitude of environmental groups ready to oppose any new project. There is the NEA. There is the NAACP. There is the ACLU. All of these groups have been very effective in shaping policy in America.

Non-liberals have the NRA. The NRA demonstrates how effective organization can be. Non liberals need to donate less to political candidates and more to offsetting organizations to the liberal groups.

There needs to be a citizens for energy in America group. I believe the former president of Shell just started such a group. There should be an organization to fight the ACLU and protect those who fight crime. There must be an organization that presses for the best possible education in America to negate the NEA which works to protect the status quo. The AARP does nice things for we older folks but they are apolitical. Maybe that needs to change. Pond scum, white males under 50 with no disabilities are at the bottom of the food chain. They get no points for diversity and in most corporations get the short straw when cuts are made.

If you want to check this google: citizens for energy. You will get hundreds of sites to stop all efforts to improve our situation and none to move ahead to foster more domestic energy.

The list can go on and on, but it’s obvious that special interests will continue to get what they want if these ideas and others like them are not initiated.

This is an extension of change –part one two days ago. The non-liberal, non-special interest groups have interests and policies and programs they want badly. They resort to writing or begging elected officials as a voice of one. We are ignored. Can’t lobby, can’t present numbers, can’t present a real threat to re-election.

We simply have to do this better in the future. Take this type of change, Obama.

I was great talking with you Bill and I have to give you a lot of credit for keeping your blog going on a daily basis, especially when your golf game sounds like it is following the economy (Down The Tubes). Don’t be too hard on yourself, you’ll come back as you always do. I just hope your golf buddy’s don’t try and take advantage of you while you’re trying to save the Country from going broke. I appreciate your dedication and help to get people to wake up…
