Al Gore joined the ranks of celebrities whose rants made big news. Like the Tyra Banks, fat rant, and the Alec Baldwin, rant to his daughter. Now, Baldwin is supposedly thinking about running for mayor of NY. That would seem fitting.
Gore, who has made millions selling climate change has gotten more and more strident about his gold mine. He steadfastly refuses to appear on any stage with a scientist who refutes climate change to debate his position. He now justs uses the Obama approach. Put forth no facts, just rant. Demonize those who disagree. Put forth no facts, nor any plan, just rant.
He’s getting very tiresome. Recently, he appeared on the same stage as Obama’s ex-Communist advisor, Van Jones. How far the mighty have fallen. Two Nobel Prize winners, Gore and Obama couldn’t get a vote today.
Speaking in Aspen last Thursday, former Vice President Al Gore warned of the impacts of global warming. In sharp contrast to previous appearances, however, Gore may have frothed at the mouth a bit when he told the Aspen Institute’s ‘Networks and Citizenship’ panel not to believe those that dismiss global warming.
In a passionate rant, Gore says his opponents are a group of people, “washing back at you the same crap over and over and over again. There’s no longer a shared reality … It’s no longer acceptable in mixed company — meaning bipartisan company — to use the goddamn word ‘climate.'”
Gore continues,
And some of the exact same people — I can go down a list of their names — are involved in this. And so what do they do? They pay pseudo-scientists to pretend to be scientists to put out the message: ‘This climate thing, it’s nonsense. Man-made CO2 doesn’t trap heat. It may be volcanoes.’ Bullshit! ‘It may be sun spots.’ Bullshit! ‘It’s not getting warmer.’ Bullshit!
Where does Gore get off with this approach to climate change? What would make him happy? If we added trillions in debt to chase his consensus science? We will see all of Europe back away from supporting Gore’s plan, since they can’t afford to blow billions more in pounds and Euros to pursue the Gore dream.
It’s time to get real about Al. He’s using us to enrich himself. Let’s let Al try to find another way to finance his high life style. Don’t count on taxpayers to line your pocket anymore Al.
