Another chapter in the current administration’s ego trip. Never in my lifetime has the public let our government get away with so much. Now, government knows who should run GM. The stock market responded by coughing up 250 points that day.

Government knows how to run health care. They can’t run Medicare and Medicaid, but they know.

Government knows how to fix the energy problem. They have spent over $40 billion a year in the DOE to get energy independence. Result. Nothing. But, this time they are sure they have it right.

Government knows how to fix the banks.

Government wants to take over other ailing businesses besides banks. Like GM, I assume. Government knows how to make them whole. Just like Social Security, the Post Office, and Amtrak.

Government knows whats best for global climate. Their plan will destroy the economy and make America non competitive in the global marketplace, but government knows.

Government knows how to fix charities in this country. Cut the deduction for donations and let the government take care of the gap that occurs when private donations drop off 50%.

Government knows how to take care of the poor. Just give them most of your money and they will get it to the needy.

Government knows what wage and salary administration should be for big corporations. They will tell them what they can pay.

Government knows how to fix the FDIC, Fannie and Freddie, AIG, and when they get that fixed all will be well in the housing market.

Government knows how to rid banks of toxic assets.

Government knows how to help those who can’t pay their mortgages.

Government is very busy these days. Their plate is full. They have so many things to fix that it’s hard to keep score.

Just relax. All this will be done in days if not weeks. Government is the answer to everything in America today.

I sleep so much better at night knowing what good works are being done by the brilliant people in government. I’m actually starting to tip government workers so they can be more motivated to do it faster. It’s not tax deductible, but the clerks at the post office really appreciated it. The one I’ve been tipping lets me come to the front of the line now. See, it’s working.

When will the news media and the voters start demanding what congress make and how much they make on the outside of there job? I would love to
