You Can Attend the Obama Birthday Party
July 24th, 2010On August 5 you can attend a birthday party for President Obama in Chicago. But, you must write a check for $30,000 to the Democratic National Committee.
The money, however, will go to support the campaign of Alexi Giannoulas, candidate for the infamous senate seat that was Obama’s then went on the auction block by Blagojevich, then was filled by Roland Burris, now to be put on the ballot, since Burris may have never legally been a senator. Obama’s home state may have two elections for the same senate seat. One to replace Burris, who may have been there illegally. That electee would serve between November and January, when the duly elected senator would take his seat. Confused? Remember, this is Illinois, the state that gave you Obama, Emanuel, Axelrod, and Jarrett.
This birthday party begs several questions? Why would anyone pay $30,000 to attend this party? Because there are fat cat Democrats who just want to be in the presence of the president? Or, is it to buy favors from Alexi? Once again, remember, this is Illinois.
Mr. Giannoulias is a good friend of President Obama. He helped him get elected to the senate.
Mr. Giannoulias is typical of many of Obama’s friends. Tarnished goods. His Broadway Bank loaned millions to Michael “jaws” Giorango, a convicted bookmaker and well as other crime figures. This was while Mr. Giannoulias was the senior loan officer. The bank went broke. He has mismanaged the Illinois college saving progam as Treasurer of the state. He is a young Blagojevich on steroids. Just the kind of young man you would hope your president would support for a senate position and come out and charge lobbyists $30,000 a pop to get in line for favors from Giannoulias or Obama.
Remember the old mob movies where the Feds filmed the funerals and got the license plates of the people who attended the funeral? The Feds should do the same thing at this birthday party. The attendees will be testifying at the next Federal prosecution of Giannoulias should he be elected senator.
Obama is president of the wrong country. America is done with him, he needs to be president of Chicago, replacing Daley.

Anyone Can Have a Bad Century
June 27th, 2010Look at the Chicago Cubs. They were in the World Series last in 1908. A bad century. Is it lack of money, bad management, or the hex of the billy goat? In over a hundred years, one might assume there would be confluence of luck that would negate the money, management, and maybe the hex. After all, the hex of the Bambino finally left and let the Redsox win a World Championship.
Look at the Blackhawks. After years of bad management by Bill Wirtz, he died and his son, Rocky, took over. Immediately, the team got better, the fans came back, and they won the Stanley Cup this year. Look at the Bulls. They made one good trade, got Michael Jordan, and won 6 championships. Even the White Sox lined up the cherries on the slot machine and won a World Series. They way they are playing now, they may win another this year.
Meanwhile the Cubs new owners’ are redecorating the rest rooms at the park. And, trying to force the City of Mesa, Arizona to build them a new stadium with taxpayer money or they will move spring training to Florida where the new owners winter.
The truth of the matter is the owners of the Cubs, past and present, don’t care about winning. Especially if it means spending money. They have the best little bar ever built on the north side of Chicago. People go there to get sunshine and drink beer and a ball game breaks out. They will get their 3,000,000 fans this year despite a bad team and total disregard for the fans. It’s been a bad century for the fans but not for the owners.
Where am I going with this? Our politicians are setting up a bad century for our kids and grand kids, and we are like Cub fans, we just keep buying.
Obama is in Toronto with the elf, Geithner, dodging riots and trying to convince the G-20 attendees to keep spending. They, on the other hand, are trying to tell Obama to stop spending. Their message to Obama, stop spending. We’ve tried your strategy for 50 years and it doesn’t work. Why are you putting in place our losing strategy?
In a ranking of political units likely to default on debt, Illinois ranks just behind Iraq and just ahead of California. Why? They can’t stop spending and they just keep borrowing to put off spending cuts. Pension obligations is the major factor.
If we don’t get Democrats out of control in Congress in the fall and Obama out of office in 2012, we will be like the Cubs, headed for a bad century. Illinois must be the least intelligent state in the country, but now it’s even looking bad compared to the worst countries in rest of the world. Thank God for Greece. The same corrupt people have been running the state for years. Governors come and go, from office to jail. Obama came from Illinois. He wants to make America like Illinois. It’s all he knows. Mayor Daley would be doing the same things Obama is. The only difference, Daley would be doing it behind the scenes. Obama, on the other hand, can’t resist the camera and is putting his face and stamp on all the mistakes. How bad is it to be only slightly ahead of California in a potential default rating?
Greece has already defaulted for all practical purposes. They got bailed out by Europe and Obama. Next on the default probability list is: Venezuela:58.05%, Argentina: 48.15, Pakistan:38.80, Ukraine: 35.69, Iraq: 29.29, Dubai 29.20, then Illinois: 27.35 and California: 27.00.
Back to the Cubs. If you have fans who support you regardless of what you do(voters) and management that understands that and is indifferent to their actions(politicians), you have the potential for a century of failure. Illinois, California, and the United States is in that situation. Illinois is teetering on the brink. There has been no balanced budget for 9 years. They just keep borrowing.
So, if you keep watching while your elected officials screw up the future, you may be destined to find out what Cub fans already know. Anyone can have a bad century. It might take that long or longer to fix what’s being done right now.

Janet Napolitano is at it Again
August 4th, 2010How many passes can the Director of Homeland Security get?
In her confirmation hearings she refused to utter the word terrorist. She coined a phrase man-caused disaster.
Then someone in her department sent a memo to all law enforcement agencies warning that military returning from Iraq and Afghanistan might pose a threat for terrorist activities.
Then the famous words in the failed Christmas Day bombing in Detroit interview. Everything worked perfectly.
Then she stopped work on the border fence.
Now, in the same week that an illegal with two drunk driving convictions, driving drunk yet again, kills a nun and puts two more in the hospital with serious injuries, a secret memo from her department is disclosed.
It seems four people from her department of immigration wrote a memo looking at ways to give all illegals amnesty without congressional approval. Republican senators are asking for a hearing on this.
Circumventing congressional approval is one of the few talents Obama possesses. He has the EPA, in effect, implementing cap and tax without congressional approval. Why not try giving 10-20 million illegals amnesty based on his blessing using a dolt like Napolitano to take the fall if it implodes?
This is just Chicago politics. When Mayor Daley got concerned about Meigs Field after 9-11 and he was getting objections from several fronts, he had it bulldozed in the dark of night. Papal politics. He had no right, legal or otherwise, to destroy a city airport but he did.
Obama sees himself as a Daley or a Pope. So, why not grant papal amnesty to illegals? When you are at a 41% approval rating, you need 10-20 million votes quickly.
