According to the latest Rasmussen survey, 45 percent of Americans approve of President Trump — the highest his rating has been in the same poll since July 12. His approval rating exactly one week ago stood at a staggeringly low 39 percent.
It seems the American pubic are in agreement with Trump’s hard- line on North Korea. We’ve had 16 years of Clinton, Bush, and Obama using diplomacy and it’s led to this. a nuclear North Korea with missiles capable of delivering those warheads in our direction and a leader who says he will fire some at Guam.
Trump says you will experience “fire and fury” and we are “locked and loaded” should you do so. The media, the Democratic Party and most Republicans spent the week parsing those words. Could he have used a different tone or different language. The public has weighed in and Trump was right yet again.
I am old enough to remember the Missiles of October. We gathered in the fraternity house to head JFK tell Castro and Russia if you deliver those warheads to Cuba we will retaliate. We thought we were about to interrupt our studies and go to war like our dads did twenty years earlier. There was no 24 hour news cycle then and I’m sure there were critics of JFK’s position but it worked and that’s how he is judged in history. We had the Obama red line with Syria and that’s how Obama will be judged in history. A man who voted present his entire career.
While Trump took on Kim Jong Un he also took on Mitch McConnell. Another battle that was long overdue. Mitch exemplifies the swamp. Worth $24 million having spent a career in a job that pays $200K a year, he’s a financial wizard. Not so much a legislative guru. Why bother when the folks who gave you all that money don’t want Obamacare repealed? Why bust your chops in that 100 day a year job when you have all that money and the voters back in Kentucky will keep sending you to Washington? You said it well, ” the President has unrealistic expectations of how things get done in DC”. your weasel friend, Paul Ryan, says, “I’m not here to serve the wishes of President Trump”. Right, Paul, you were elected by 200K cheeseheads and he by 60 million Americans who want what he promised. The two of you are defining the swamp. A place where we send people who make promises they don’t deliver. They stay forever because we think there is no alternative.
We saw true leadership this week on both fronts. To stop a deranged dictator from threatening us, Guam, and our allies, a leader must take a firm stand and speak in language we can all understand. To fix a swamp a leader must expose the slimy critters who reside there. Our president did both and the public responded.

Looks like Charlottesville is the epicenter of honest history versus the Anti First Amendment who want to change history to one they think is more apropos.
As far as NoKo is concerned, President Trump is being very calm in his demeanor toward Kim Jung Un. It is now time for China to step in and control its proxy government.
It is also time for Russia to tell Iran to tone down its rhetoric or face the consequences.
The media switched immediately to Charlottesville from N Korea. The threat of civil war perpetrated by 8 years of a president who stirred racial strife seems a greater concern than nuclear war.
Kim Jong Un has shut up about bombing Guam. The vile media give Trump zero credit now.
