Suddenly, Ms. Winfrey, who amassed her fortune pandering to white audiences, has begun to play the race card. She, who was dissed by the First Lady and refused to campaign for the President in 2012, is now coming to his defense.

She was quoted this week by the BBC saying, ” Yeah, I think there is a level of disrespect for the office(president) that occurs, and that it occurs in some cases and maybe even in many cases because he’s African-American”. She went on to say, “”There are generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just need to die.”

Nice Oprah. You get the Presidential Medal of Freedom just hours after you do your best Huey Long imitation.

In my lifetime, I’ve never seen a president get treated better by the media than Obama. I write this blog because I feel someone needs to be objective about the performance of this president.

Now he’s being roughed up a little for good cause and Oprah says its racial bias?

The President says his ObamaCare program is a wreck because the Republicans in Congress are rooting against it. Really, the Cardinals lost the World Series because there were more Boston rooters rooting against them?

Seems to me that any president who lies to the American people time after time about something as important as their health care might merit a little criticism.

In your case Oprah, I care nothing for your opinion, since I ignore all celebrity political comments. I consider you to be far too uninformed to be respected.

But, in your case, Mr. President, I find your ability to lie and your unwillingness to accept responsibility for your many shortcomings to be worthy of criticism.

I never consider your color when I point out reasons why you are not cutting the mustard in this job. It’s just your lack of leadership and integrity. You are a Chicago politician through and through and those of us in the Chicago area recognized you for what you were from the beginning. The media and the rest of the country are catching on now.
