Michael Steele. Wow, it’s the best the Republican Party can do. He keeps Joe Biden looking good by sticking his foot in his mouth deeper and more often than old Joe. Thank God Robert Gibbs and Tim Geitner are around. But, most of their screw ups get little media attention. Can you imagine if Bush had a press secretary who can’t talk, like Gibbs.
It’s shades of Bob Dole. The party had 4 years to get Clinton out of office and Dole was the best they could do. It’s only going to be 4 this time too. Obama will lose if the party can just come up with a decent candidate.
Doesn’t seem like it should be that hard. Obama was already running hard at this point in W’s last term. So was Hillary.
It isn’t Bobby Jindal or Sarah Palin, so who is it? Is it Mitt or someone new? Is it Newt? Is it Mike Huckabee? Someone step to the front please. Start working the country.
In the meantime, I suggest you fire Steele as soon as possible. Just because we have a black president doesn’t mean we need a black running the RNC. Neither one seem to be doing well at running either job, so take out the one we don’t have to impeach.
I will give you some thoughts. Yale, Harvard, Berkley, the Kennedy’s, the ultra rich with their little guilt issues, Hollywood, and the media have their dream in office right now. It is fast becoming a nightmare. We are being stripped of our freedoms by a leader who has never had a non-socialist thought. Blacks voted for him because he was black. Pseudo elitist whites because he was elitist. Republicans because the party ran a Democrat against him. Finally, all those who wanted the big socialist dream got it and they are happy. Some of the Republicans who voted for him and some of the pseudo elitists are out of work already, and the rest of us knew what we were getting and either voted for Bob Barr, Ron Paul, or gritted out teeth and voted for the Democrat, McCain. Following the other Democrat, George Bush who probably destroyed the party forever.
If that’s the case, woe to us. Eight years of Obama will just about do it for future generations.
It’s the American Dream that’s at stake. Show us you can do better than Steele and get with the program and pick us a winner and put him on the road to take advantage of the mess that’ s being made in Washington.
